SunWest Landscape Group coordination process

How SunWest
Landscape Group Works

We're a landscaping coordination brand — not a direct contractor. We match your project with licensed, insured specialist partners and stay your single point of contact from first call to final walkthrough.

Step by Step

The Full Process, Nothing Hidden

Every project follows this structure. We keep it transparent because trust starts before the first shovel hits the ground.

Step 01

You Reach Out to SunWest

One call or message starts everything.

Contact us by phone, text, or the estimate form. We pick up quickly and keep it simple — no lengthy intake process, no being passed around.

We'll ask about the project type, your general location, your timeline, and any particular concerns. This initial conversation costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.

SunWest serves the Tampa Bay to Sarasota corridor: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties.

Step 02

We Assess, Scope & Plan Your Project

We review your property and define what the project actually needs.

Depending on the project, we may visit your site or work from photos and details you provide. The goal is to fully understand scope — what's involved, what materials are appropriate, what special conditions exist (HOA rules, soil type, coastal salt exposure, drainage, etc.).

At this stage we're also determining which specialist in our partner network is the right fit. A paver driveway needs a different skill set than a drip-irrigation system or a fence installation — we match accordingly.

You'll get a clear picture of the project before anything moves forward.

Step 03

A Vetted, Insured Contractor Partner Does the Field Work

SunWest coordinates licensed specialists — we don't self-perform field services.

This is the step that surprises some people, and we want to be transparent about it.

We partner with seasoned specialists who have mastered the specific crafts your landscape demands — from precision paver masonry and professional turf integration to complex irrigation engineering, sod, drainage, and fencing. These are not general laborers. Each partner in our network was selected because they bring deep, craft-level competency in their discipline across the Tampa–Sarasota corridor.

Every contractor partner carries appropriate licensing and insurance for their specialty. We vet them rigorously so you don't have to — and we stay accountable for the outcome throughout.

Why aren't I dealing directly with the contractor?

Because managing multiple specialty contractors on your own is stressful, time-consuming, and full of coordination gaps. SunWest exists to be the accountable single point of contact so you get expert field results without the project management burden. You deal with us. We handle the rest.

Step 04

SunWest Stays Your Point of Contact Throughout

We don't disappear once the work starts.

Once the project is underway, SunWest remains your primary contact for questions, schedule updates, change requests, and any concerns. You're not being handed off to someone else.

We support communication between you and the field team, flag anything that needs your input, and make sure the project stays on track.

If something isn't right, you tell us and we address it — not "call the contractor yourself."

Step 05

Final Walkthrough & Your Approval

We don't close out until you're satisfied.

At project completion, we walk through the work with you — either virtually or in person, depending on the project. We review what was done, address any punch-list items, and confirm you're happy with the results.

Your approval closes the project. Not ours.

The SunWest Roadmap

From Deposit to Dream Space

As your single point of contact, SunWest coordinates every specialist across all four phases — so you can stay focused on the result, not the logistics. Here is exactly what happens after you say yes.

01Phase 1

Project Launch & Procurement

Deposit & Scheduling

Once the deposit is received, we officially secure your spot on the production calendar — no vague "we'll be in touch" timelines.

Material Procurement

We leverage our preferred partner network to order long-lead items — custom cabinetry, specific stone pavers, specialty turf — before work begins to prevent mid-project delays.

Permitting & Approvals

If your project requires HOA approval or city permits (common for fencing, drainage, or outdoor kitchens), we coordinate the documentation with our licensed partners.

02Phase 2

Site Preparation & Infrastructure

Site Mobilization

Our vetted partners arrive to prep the area — including debris removal, site grading, or drainage correction — before any materials are placed.

Utility Rough-In

For complex projects, we manage the coordination of gas, electric, and plumbing specialists before any stone, turf, or structure is installed.

03Phase 3

Master Craft Installation

The Build Phase

This is where the vision becomes reality. Whether it's precision paver laying, artificial turf integration, or outdoor kitchen assembly — SunWest provides active oversight throughout.

Quality Checkpoints

We don't wait until completion to inspect. Internal spot-checks are performed during installation to confirm the SunWest Standard is being met at every layer, not just at the surface.

04Phase 4

The Final Polish & Walkthrough

Detailing

After construction, the site is cleaned and final touches — lighting adjustments, sod trimming, grout cleanup — are completed before we call you out.

The Signature Walkthrough

You and your SunWest coordinator walk the entire project together. We review every detail until you confirm total satisfaction — the job is not closed until you say it is.

Project Closeout

We provide care instructions for your new space and finalize all warranty documentation so you have everything on file for years to come.

One coordinator. Four phases. Zero logistics on your end.

Your SunWest coordinator is your single point of contact from deposit through final walkthrough — the same person, every call, every update.

The Advantage

Why the Coordination Model Works for You

It's not a workaround — it's a smarter structure. Here's what you actually get from it.

No coordination fatigue

Managing multiple specialty contractors yourself is exhausting. SunWest handles that layer so you're not scheduling 3 different companies for one project.

Vetted Masters of Every Craft

High-end outdoor transformations demand a sophisticated blend of engineering and artistry. We partner with seasoned specialists — deep experts in paver masonry, turf integration, irrigation, and sod — then match your project with the dedicated team that has mastered the specific crafts your landscape demands.

Accountability stays with us

You never have to wonder who's responsible. SunWest is your single accountable entity — if something needs to be resolved, you call us.

Faster project matching

Because we maintain an active network of contractor partners, we can source and schedule the right person faster than starting from scratch with a cold contractor search.

SunWest Landscape Group, LLC coordinates projects with independent third-party contractor partners. Field services and payment terms may vary by project scope and assigned partner. All contractor partners are required to carry appropriate licensing and insurance.

Common Questions

Questions About the SunWest Model

Is SunWest more expensive because of the coordination layer?

Actually, no. Our model is designed to be highly cost-effective. Because we manage a high volume of projects across the Gulf Coast, we've built preferred partner relationships with the region's top master craftsmen — which means we can secure professional rates that are often lower than what an individual homeowner is quoted for a one-off project. We don't carry the overhead of permanent in-house crews or heavy machinery, so our costs stay lean and that savings passes through to you. You receive a competitive market price — sometimes even less than going direct — with full project management and a single point of accountability included at no extra charge. You're not paying more for the management layer. You're paying to have it done right the first time.

Is SunWest a licensed contractor?

SunWest Landscape Group, LLC is a coordination and project management brand. Field services are performed by licensed, insured independent contractor partners from our network. Each partner carries licensing appropriate to their specialty service area.

Who do I call if something goes wrong during the project?

You call SunWest — always. That's the whole point of the model. You have one accountable contact from the first conversation through project completion. We handle communication with the field team on your behalf.

How does SunWest vet its contractor partners?

We review licensing, insurance, and track record before bringing any contractor into our network. We also monitor quality through customer feedback. Partners who don't meet our standards aren't used again.

Do I get a contract and warranty for the work?

Yes. Project agreements and warranty terms are provided before work begins. Terms vary by project scope and assigned contractor partner. We'll walk you through everything upfront — no surprises.

What areas does SunWest serve?

We serve the Gulf Coast corridor from Tampa Bay to Venice: Hillsborough County (Tampa, Riverview, Brandon), Pinellas County (St. Petersburg, Clearwater, St. Pete Beach), Manatee County (Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Parrish), and Sarasota County (Sarasota, Siesta Key, Venice, Englewood, Osprey, Nokomis).
